From the humble beginnings of Isang Pangarap to the expanding impact of Liwanag, Aruga, and Celestial Universe.
When MaxaM Foundation began in 2017, it started with one simple belief: a child’s dream deserves a chance. Isang Pangarap, which means “One Dream,” was the first and only program during the foundation’s early years, and it became the seed from which every future project would grow. What started as a small act of giving in one rural town slowly evolved into a movement of compassion, community, and opportunity.
2017: The First Step Toward One Dream
The foundation’s journey began in Salcedo, Ilocos Sur, Philippines where the needs were simple but deeply felt. That year, we provided 10 elementary uniforms, essential school materials including electric fans for classroom comfort, and school supplies for 50 students at Salcedo Central School. We also extended support to 50 children at rural village called Arnap Daycare Center through feeding activities, school supplies, and basic teaching materials. It was modest, heartfelt, and meaningful, a sign of what was possible when people come together for children who simply want to learn.
2018: Growing With the Community
A year later, Isang Pangarap expanded its reach. We delivered feeding support and school supplies to 100 underprivileged pupils at Salcedo Central School, Philippines. The joy on the children’s faces reminded us why this work mattered. The program was no longer just a small initiative; it was becoming part of the community’s yearly rhythm.
2019: A Wider Circle of Care
By 2019, the program grew even further. We distributed school supplies to 200 pupils at Salcedo Central School and provided a feeding program for 100 students at Calangcuasan Elementary School, Philippines. These partnerships allowed Isang Pangarap to touch more lives, showing that even with limited resources, consistency and compassion can build something lasting.
2024: A Season of Joy Through Partnership
After the pandemic years and the challenges that came with them, 2024 offered a beautiful moment of giving. In partnership with Kubjertos Restaurant - Netherlands, we brought Christmas cheer to 100 children through a Jollibee meal distribution. For many children, Jollibee is not just food; it is a childhood symbol of celebration and belonging. That simple gesture helped revive the spirit of Isang Pangarap after years of quiet.
20242025: Expanding Dreams Beyond Elementary Years
In 2025, the program continued to grow in both scale and purpose. Through Kubjertos' support, seven college students received financial assistance for their daily needs, a reminder that dreams do not end at graduation from elementary school.
The annual Christmas project also expanded, with plans to provide more than 100 Jollibee meals and Noche Buena food packs to children and families across the rural villages of Salcedo. The initiative aimed not only to feed children but to help families experience a dignified Christmas celebration.
Looking Forward: The Evolution of MaxaM Foundation (2026 and Beyond)
Isang Pangarap laid the foundation for what MaxaM would eventually become: a multi-program organization dedicated to healing, empowerment, education, and community care.
January 2026 – Soulful Phoenix
In partnership with Astramia Counselling, MaxaM will launch Soulful Phoenix, a new program under the Aruga Project. It is a global initiative providing free counselling for survivors of domestic violence, including migrants facing emotional and psychological abuse. This marks the foundation’s first major step into mental health advocacy.
February 2026 – Buhok Ko’y Korona (My Hair is My Crown)
Another new program under the Aruga Project will begin its rollout in schools across the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. This initiative supports young girls and boys experiencing scalp and hair hygiene issues, helping restore their confidence, well-being, and daily comfort.
July 2026 – The First Miss & Mrs Celestial Universe
MaxaM Foundation will hold the first edition of Miss & Mrs Celestial Universe to be held in The Netherlands on July 6-12, 2025. It is a global women empowerment platform designed to uplift women as advocates and leaders across numerous participants worldwide. Beyond celebrating their stories, Celestial Universe will also serve as a major fundraising arm for the foundation’s educational, mental health, and community programs.
Where a simple school supply drive once stood, a global empowerment movement now rises that is all rooted in the same dream.
Isang Pangarap Lives On
From 2017 to 2025, Isang Pangarap has touched hundreds of lives, grown through partnerships, and inspired a new generation of community giving. What began as a single act of kindness has evolved into a foundation committed to education, healing, empowerment, and hope.
The story continues, and so does the dream with one child, one family, one community at a time.
