Mrs. Universe
Pacific Islands 2021
Rodelyn Daguplo
"I am thankful for the way I was raised, to be positive. Even when times have gotten rough, I have always tried to look on the bright side. Even when I was put down, yelled at, and made feel insignificant, I still thought things were all right. I did realize when enough is enough. " -Angela Merkel
About Me
I was born in the Philippines, in the town of Margosatubig, in the province of Zamboanga del Sur. My late mother, Estrella, and father, Rodrigo Daguplo, raised me as the eldest daughter. For the previous 16 years, I had resided in Australia. Due to domestic violence, I was divorced after ten years of marriage. I've been a single mother for five years, raising my two children, Christy, six, and Alexander, eight. They are my life's inspirations.
I graduated as Dean's lister from Western Mindanao State University in Zamboanga City, Philippines, with a bachelor's degree in education.
I am a licensed teacher in the Philippines who has received awards for Leadership, Service, and Proficiency in Student Teaching. I also have a Bachelor's Equivalent degree in Early Childhood Education in Australia. In addition, I completed a caregiver course at Zamboanga City's St. Augustine School of Nursing. I have a disability diploma from TMG College in Melbourne, Australia, and am currently employed as a Disability Support Practitioner. Now, I am pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, intending to become a registered Psychologist and Psychiatrist in a few years so that I can assist my son and others in need, particularly the less fortunate. Finally, I own QueenLyn Travel and Tours by SATT.
I am the title holder of the following beauty and charity pageants: Mrs. Universe Pacific Island 2021 was appointed to me by the Maxam Foundation. From June 25 to July 1, 2022, I will compete in the Mrs. Universe pageant in Seoul, Korea. I am the 2019 Ambassador for the International Asian Mum of the Year. Mrs. Earth's Timeless Beauty Ambassador 2019. Mrs. International Asian Mother of the Year Mindanao Philippines 2019 and 2nd Runner-up Philippine Fiesta of Victoria Inc Queen and Charity 2018.

I am the President of The Women Association Inc. for the years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. An organization exists to assist women and children who have been victims or survivors of domestic violence and anyone in a difficult situation.
As a model for Cris Cadungog gown designer, I was honored to be featured in the Marquis Magazine March 2022 Edition. I was named a candidate for World-Class Woman of the Year in 2022, published on January 5, 2022. I was the cover model for the January 2021 issue of World Class Beauty Queens Magazine, published in the United States. It's a special end-of-year World Class Beauty Queens Magazine with all of the 2021 Cover Girls. I was also featured in the September 2019 issue of World Class Beauty Queen Magazine, Issue 108.
#She Wins 2 is a book that I co-authored. The book is about ten women who share their experiences as domestic violence survivors and use their pain to empower others. My story appears on pages 89-100 of the book "Who Would Have Thought," published in the United States by Power Press.
My message to other survivors and single mothers who have been victims of domestic violence is this: "Don't give up. It's difficult to leave a toxic relationship, recover from trauma, and start over, but you'll be fine once you get the hang of it. Everything will be put in its proper place. If I can do it, so can you "(Excerpt from page 98 of Rodelyn Daguplo's #SheWins2 book, Who Would Have Thought.) I want other women to know that they are not alone and that help is available.
